Jerry Rivkind
Jerry is a dedicated fitness coach with a deep-rooted passion for athletic performance. Growing up playing soccer, tennis, swimming, and volleyball, Jerry discovered the value of strength training early on, thanks to a coach who introduced the team to the weight room. In addition to certifications he expanded his expertise through seminars with notable figures like Dave Durante, Chad Vaughn, and Danny Camargo, focusing on gymnastics and weightlifting. Driven by a commitment to continuous learning, Jerry combines his diverse experiences to support and inspire individuals on their fitness journeys. Newly retired Jerry is a round parent, grandparent and loves getting out and about around town and exploring new places.
Cat Blakelock
Cat found CrossFit in 2020 when she joined Crucible, initially looking to build strength and conditioning for the military. What began as a training goal quickly grew into something much bigger – lasting friendships, personal growth, and a deep connection to the Crucible community. She thrives on workouts that challenge both grit and skill, with a love for running, rig gymnastics, and Olympic lifts. As a coach, Cat celebrates progress at every level. From first pull-ups to new PRs, from mastering a new skill to confidently choosing a lighter band or RX’ing box jumps – she believes every win matters. Outside the gym, Cat runs a Montessori preschool and serves in the Georgia National Guard. She earned her CrossFit-OL1 in 2024 and continues to bring passion, discipline, and desire to learn to the Crucible coaching team.
Sean Graham
Sean began his CrossFit journey in St. Petersburg, FL in 2017. The community and camaraderie, both in and out of the gym, quickly distinguished CrossFit from other forms of exercise. He moved back home to Jacksonville at the end of 2019, when he became a member of the Crucible CrossFit family. During this time, Sean met his wife and lifelong CrossFit partner, Charmaine. In 2022, Sean was deployed with the military to West Africa, where he connected with other CrossFit athletes to work out together. This group began to attract new members, and out of a desire to formalize the instruction, Sean obtained his CrossFit-OL1 remotely through ArmyIgnitED. Soon, this unofficial CrossFit “class” grew to 30+ members from the militaries of various allied nations. Sean returned to the States, where he mentored under an affiliate owner in Clearwater. Upon returning to Jacksonville, Sean accepted an official coaching position a several gyms. Sean and Charmaine, along with their sweet baby, Olivia, returned to the Crucible CrossFit family at the end of 2025, this time as a member of the coaching team. As a coach, Sean has come to fully appreciate CrossFit’s ability to meet you right where you are in your fitness. Sticking with it over the years, he has seen how the various seasons of our lives may require different approaches to exercise, and CrossFit creates space for those adjustments. Outside of the gym, Sean is a marketing and sales director for an assisted living company, as well as a member of the Florida National Guard. He enjoys spending time at home with his wife, daughter, and their husky, Ranger. He is always looking forward to his next trip out of the country.
Trey Wetjen
Trey found CrossFit in 2013 while eating chicken tenders and french fries at a local restaurant where the CrossFit Games were playing on one of the TVs. He became obsessed and knew right away that he wanted to shape his lifestyle around the CrossFit methodology and spread it to others around him. Trey loves anything competitive, coffee dates with his wife Addi, and seeing his two little boys smile.
Tru Bowers
Tru started CrossFit in 2022 when he was a sophomore/junior in high school. At the time, he wanted to become a police officer and figured CrossFit was the best way to train for a job like that. Early on, he fell in love with the competitive side of it, and eventually found a passion for coaching too. “I try to live out the “100 words of fitness” whenever I can-always looking for new challenges, getting fitter, and trying new sports.” Even after changing career paths and going into fire rescue, he stuck with CrossFit because of the success he found, seeing firsthand how transferable the strength, conditioning, and mental toughness are on the fireground.
